    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Discussions regarding fresh terms may be held at some stage, but for now the rumour mill continues to tick over when it comes to Salah’s future. He has seen a move to the Saudi Pro League speculated on, while PSG and Bayern Munich are said to be among his many suitors in Europe.

  • WHAT AL-KHELAIFI SAID

Quizzed again on the links to Salah at the FIFA Club World Cup draw, PSG’s Qatari supremo Al-Khelaifi told reporters: "I love Salah, also because he came from our part of the world. I am very proud of him, honestly, for what he's done in the Premier League with Liverpool. And I have big respect for him and for Liverpool. So we never talked to him.
